Common electrical faults

Oct 14,2024

Electricians are indispensable in any enterprise or institution. Electricians can accurately and timely judge the faults in the power system, which requires electricians to be very familiar with circuit maintenance knowledge and be able to flexibly handle problems according to specific conditions.

In fact, the faults in the electrical system mainly include routine maintenance and repair, whether the line debugging is normal or not, and whether the installed equipment and wires are reasonable or not.

Electricians can judge whether the power system is healthy and normal by observing whether the zero-degree stability of the lighting lamp is normal or not.

Under normal circumstances, unreasonable debugging and installation may cause abnormal lighting, common short circuits and open circuits, and even leakage in severe cases. Therefore, electricians must be able to accurately analyze the root causes of power system failures and then take effective measures to solve them.

In addition, transformer failures are also very common. If the transformer is used for a long time, insulation and overheating will occur. Therefore, electricians should pay attention to observation and frequently detect transformers. Both methods of installing insulating ceramic tubes and oil protection can effectively avoid the occurrence of failures.

Another type is motor failure, which mainly includes shaft cracks, shaft core wear, rotor bending, etc. The shaft should be replaced in time if the wear is more serious; once the shaft core is found to be worn, it should be welded accurately. If the wear is too serious, it can be processed by machine tools; if the rotor is bent, the rotor should be taken out, and then the structure should be repaired differently according to the different power systems to ensure the normal operation of the motor.
